Nubian Waves accepts submissions from its readers in two ways:
Articles - If you would like to submit an article you have written, email it to contributors at nubianwaves dot com. Make sure to include a short bio (2 or 3 sentences) that contains a link to your blog (if you have one).
Of course, submitting an article does not mean it will automatically be posted. Criteria for getting posted include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Relevancy - This should go without saying, but I will anyway. Articles need to be relevant to the purpose of the site. If you submit an article on “why I like motorcycles” you can bet it won’t be posted.
- Grammar - All submissions are edited if needed, however, if an article is submitted and it needs an extensive overhaul, it will not be posted. I will not take an hour out of the day to edit a submission.
- Content - If I staunchly disagree with what is said in the article, it is our prerogative to reject it.
Link Love - The “afrosphere“, as it is beginning to be called, is quite large and there is no way I can read all of the blogs being written. Feel free to submit links to interesting articles because I post content that will solely list links to said articles. To submit, use the contact form and make sure the links are relevant to Nubian Waves content.
