Master P, real name Percy Miller, is expanding his P. Miller Youth Centers across the nation. He plans to start in New Orleans and then expand to Detroit, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

Miller says:

Our goal is take kids off the streets, provide education, financial literacy, and hope for a real future. We want our kids to pick up a book or a ball and put down the guns. It is time to save our kids… let’s give them a better vision.

Now this is what I am talking about. Rappers outweighing the negativity with positivity. Good for him.

The rapper recently discussed hip hop lyrics in front of a House subcommittee.

I believe that this is good. Positive reformation is needed in the inner city for our youth. We need to foster more positive environments for our youth to develop them for their peak potential!

I’d like to be a part of this.
I’m tired of afterschool programs that have a small dinky computer room and a state of the art Gymnasium.
If they are going to be part of the solution please be part of the solution. The urban youth doesn’t need any more massive Gymnasiums with state of the art “BASKET BALLS” They need state of the art “COMPUTERS” and state of the art “STAFF”. Beneath the 4000 square gym there should be a 3000 square foot computer lab and beneath that should be a 3000 square foot library
Do yo thang master P! I aint mad at ya but do it right!!!

Got something to say?
